The fee for a standard 50minute appointment during business hours is $264. There is a $30 surcharge for after hours with a start time before 9am or from 5pm. This is lower than the recommended fee set by the Australian Psychological Society ($318).
As of 7th July 2026, if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you will receive a rebate of $101.55 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. This mean you only pay $162.45 per session.

A valid Chronic Condition Management Plan will provide access to a rebate of $60.35 per session for up to 5 sessions each calendar year.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment time to another person in need.
Our policy on fees charged for cancellations is based on recommendations by the Australian Psychological Society which outlines.
1. Cancellations with 24-48 hours notice will incur 50% of the consultation fee.
2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or a no show will incur the full consultation fee.
If a client on the waiting list is able to attend your cancelled session, your cancellation fee will be waived. Please note that Medicare rebates are not available on cancellation fees.
To access a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) you will need to visit your GP and book a mental health appointment. Here you can share with them the difficulties you are having and they will provide a MHCP if they deem it appropriate.
Medicare provides financial support for 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. This resets every January. The 10 sessions will be provided to you in 2 portions. You will receive an initial referral of 6 sessions. Once these sessions are complete your psychologist provides your GP with a summary report of treatment. You will then need to visit your GP again to discuss accessing the remaining 4 sessions.
